Exercise of the Week – Biceps Curl to Overhead Press


Hi, my name’s Colin. I’m a personal trainer at
Elite Sports Club-West Brookfield and this is Pam. Today I’m going to show you the combined Biceps
Curl and Overhead Press, which is a great way to train both the biceps
and the triceps at the same time. So, we’re going to start with our palms facing
forward at our waist. And you’re just going to do one side at a
time curling up to the shoulder. At shoulder height, you’re going to rotate
the arm out, pressing up and overhead. You want that middle end of the dumbbell to
be about mid-line with your head. Pull it back down real slow
and control that lowering phase and you’re just alternating each arm
one side at a time.
