MINNESOTA TRYING TO KEEP THE DIVISION LEAD AT 3 1/2 GAMES.>>THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER WE’VE GONE OVER SWING FLAWS, SHORT GAME PROBLEMS, NEW RULE CHANGES, DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES, AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON. IF WE HAVEN’T HIT YOUR BIG PROBLEM SO FAR, ON OUR FINAL GOLF TIP, MIKE KLABOUGH GIVES US TWO FIXES TO TWO OF THE MOST COMMON PROBLEMS HE SEES OUT ON THE COURSE.>>SO FOR OUR LAST TIP OF THE SUMMER, WE’RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT SOME EASY FIXES TO COMMON WING FLAWS. — SWING FLAWS. HOPEFULLY ONE OF THESE APPLIES TO YOU AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PUT IT INTO PRACTICE. WE’RE GOING TO TALK ABOUT THOSE WHO SWING THEIR ARMS RATHER THAN ROTATE THE BODY. EASIEST THING, JUST PUT THE CLUB INTO YOUR BELLY, MAYBE RIGHT BELOW YOUR BELLY BUTTON, EXTEND YOUR ARMS DOWN TO TAKE YOUR GRIP AND JUST START YOUR BACK SWING. WE KNOW THAT THE ARM GUY IS GOING TO LOSE CONTACT WITH HIMSELF. SO THEN WHEN YOU PUT YOUR REGULAR GRIP ON, IT IS VERY SIMPLE. FEEL LIKE THE CLUB IS STILL ATTACHED TO YOU. ROTATE AND GO. MAYBE YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A WEIGHT TRANSFER. REMEMBER, THE WEIGHT IS SUPPOSED TO BE MOVING IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS THE CLUB. SO FOR THIS, I’M GOING TO START WITH MY TRAIL LEG BEHIND THE SHAFT AND MY LEAD LEG OUT IN FRONT. THE GOAL HERE IS TO ROTATE AND FEEL YOURSELF ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE, ON YOUR TRAIL LEG, UNWIND TO YOUR LEAD LEG. THIS IS A GREAT FIX. I USE THIS ONE A LOT MYSELF. HOPEFULLY THESE COUPLE OF TIPS WILL HELP YOU WITH ANY AILS IN YOUR GOLF SWING.
