They’re having a very good season and we know they were in the Champions League final last year. I’ve seen some of their games this season – they’re in good form. But they also know they’re up against Bayern Munich. They certainly won’t be delighted with the draw, either. In my opinion, it’s the toughest draw we could have had. Liverpool got to the final last year, they’re top of the Premier League and one of the favourites for the Champions League. They’ll ask a lot of us. But we’re Bayern Munich, and I’m sure Liverpool know they’ve got to come here to Munich for the second leg. That’s a minor advantage which I hope we can use. We also know that Anfield is Anfield and that there have been some magical nights there. I hope there’ll be one for us. We’re looking forward to the game but it’s a while off and we’ll certainly be well-prepared. They’re the team of the moment. They’re league leaders in England and play really good, physical, high-energy football. I never played there as a player. We’re looking forward to it. I missed Hoffenheim’s game there because I’d moved to Munich. I watched both legs – they’re an incredible team. We need to be at the top of our game and get a good result in the first leg. I’m very confident we’ll come out on top. I’ve already spoken with a few players about it. We’ve just been singing the famous Liverpool anthem. There’s a fierce atmosphere there. The fans really go for it. I’m looking forward to it. It’s his style of play. Jürgen Klopp created that over many years at Dortmund and now he’s implemented it at Liverpool. It’s a very swift, fast, direct and aggressive form of football – strong without the ball. It’s an interesting challenge. We played Ajax who have a similar aggressive style, so we’ll certainly be well-prepared. I’m excited. Jürgen Klopp’s coming to Germany and the media attention will be big. I’ve never played against Liverpool. I’m glad I have the chance to play there. It’ll certainly be a great game at Liverpool but also at home at the Allianz Arena.
