Hi guys, it’s Donal here from Golfbidder with
the Titleist 910D2 driver. The guys at Titleist have been working hard to make it even better
than the 909. 70% more weight has been taken out the crown, it’s super thin. It’s been
put low and deep in the head to create this high launch with low-mid spin characteristics.
If you own a 909 you’ll notice that the 910 sets up with more of a neutral or draw bias.
It’s got the sure fit tour hosel which allows you to change loft and lie independently.
So if you’re using the driver and you think it’s heading a little bit high you can adjust
the loft down. Its got an Aldila Rip shaft. The technology in the face produces 15% more
ball speed than the previous Titleist. So let’s put it to the test. A nice tough driving
hole. It does look very nice and classic behind the ball. The 460cc head really doesn’t seem
that big, and it’s got an alignment aid. Oh that’s fantastic. A really good, solid feel.
That really good Titleist feel that you expect out of this club. So if you own a Titleist
driver that is a couple of years old and you’re thinking of changing, the 910DS, there’s also
a D3, but the D2 has got a high moment of inertia or resistance to twist at impact.
Maybe not as workable as the D3 but it gets it out there and straight, and that’s what
we’re all after. You can check out the Titleist 910 series on Golfbidder.
